University Park Mall is a very nice mall along the Indiana Turnpike in the South Bend suburb of Mishawaka, IN with current anchor stores Macy's, JCPenney, Sears, and Barnes & Noble.
The mall opened in 1979 and was originally anchored by Hudson's, and L.S. Aryes.
L.S. Aryes became Marshall Field's in 1997 and Hudson's turned into Marshall Field's in 2001.
In 2006, Marshall Field's in the Hudson's store became Macy's and the L.S. Aryes store closed in 2006 and was torn down in 2007.
The former L.S. Aryes became a concourse area and a Barnes & Noble.
