Circle Centre Mall- (Indianapolis, IN)


Welcome to Indianapolis, home of the Colts and the famous Indianapolis 500. Indianapolis in the capital of Indiana and is the only major city it the state with a population of nearly 850,000 in 2013. The city is home to many famous buildings and companies like the Indianapolis Art Gardens to Angies List and Steak N' Shake. The main mall in the downtown sprawl is Circle Centre Mall, a multi-story enclosed mall with Carson Pirie Scott as the only anchor.

The mall opened in 1995 with Nordstrom and L.S. Aryes, which became Parisian, then Carson Pirie Scott. The mall consists of over 100 stores between four levels, there are three other anchor spaces available at the moment. There is a food court on the third level and the fourth level is devoted to entertainment with a movie theater and brewery and and former Gameworks, now known as Tilt.

In 2006, L.S. Aryes changed to Parisian then Carsons in 2007. In 2011, the Nordstrom announced it would close its store at the mall due t declining sales.
