The Twelve Oaks Mall is located in Novi, MI, and is one of the largest malls in the Detroit suburb, standing over 1.5 million square feet with over 180 stores. The mall sits along Interstate 96 and Novi Road and is anchored by Macy's, Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom, JCPenney, and Sears.
Twelve Oaks Mall opened August 1977 and originally was anchored by Hudson's, JCPenney, and Sears. Lord & Taylor was added in 1978.
The mall went under expansive renovations in 2005 with the addition of 30 new stores, food court and adding kiosk's for the first time and a new Nordstrom store opening in September 2007.
Michigan's first Cheesecake Factory opened at Twelve Oaks Mall in August 2013.
The mall is well known for its large, contemporary, geometric ceiling designs and recessed skylights and architectural features found around the mall.
