I posted an original Deerbrook Mall story back in December, which featured pictures from 2012 and 2013, and a lot of the stores like Bally's Total Fitness, Best Buy, Wonder!, and the inside can all be seen, basically before the plaza died, or at least the left side of it, because the right side still has Jewel, Sports Authority, among other small things. I also mention most of the original stores like Montgomery Ward and Venture, and Sportmart, before they all closed and were taken over by other chains in Deerfield.
You can see all the original stores in a FLASHBACK: post featuring pictures courtesy of a post from Labelscar back in 2007.
Since then, the inside of the mall is now closed off, and the TJMaxx is closed, and there is redevelopment in the works of the old Best Buy.

You can see the original roof behind the wall that was built when the plaza was redeveloped.
Here is an article from the Chicago Tribune that says Hobby Lobby plans on opening a store at the former mall (current plaza), and it looks like it will be in the former Best Buy store, which closed in August 2012.
Here is an article from the Chicago Tribune that says famous Chicago restaurant chain Portillo's will open in November.
The only stores here now are Sports Authority, Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Jewel-Osco, and some smaller stuff. There was TJMaxx, but when the mall closed, the store was only accessible from the inside, so by force, they had to close this location.
Here is the Deerbrook Mall's very outdated website link, as it features pictures of stores have have not been here is years, like Bally's Total Fitness, Old Country Buffet, Ritz Camera, Best Buy, and many more.
