A sad sight to see in any part of the world, for the people who work and shop at a particular store and find out it is closing, it is both a shock and a loss, in 2015, there will be an extensive amount of retail losses, in America, and today in Canada, where Target announced it will cease its Canadian operations after two years and billions lost, will close all 133 stores in the next two months.
It could be Karma, for a company coming from America, Target, and Canuck who has never been to the states, this was a whole new experience, or in the case of Wal-Mart, from Arkansas, was already in Canada, but with the closing of famous Canadian chain Zellers, Wal-Mart had room to grow.
At first Zellers was closing a few stores, but Target put in the extra effort to force the chain out of business and took over all remaining stores around this time two years ago, and two years later, are announcing defeat.
