North Park Mall- (Davenport, IL)

The mall on the west side of the Quad Cities, in Davenport, IA, lies the Northpark Mall with current anchor stores Sears, Younker's. Von Maur, JCPenney, Barnes & Noble, and Dillard's. This is one of two malls in the Quad Cites, the other in Southpark Mall in Moline, IL.

Northpark opened in 1973 with original anchor stores JCPenney, Younker's, and Montgomery Ward.

In 1981, Sears and Petersen Harned Von Maur opened in the mist of a multi-million dollar renovation and expansion project.

In 2001, Montgomery Ward closed as the entire chain went bankrupt, yet... today, a Seventh Avenue/ Wards store is still operating in the mall, Seventh Avenue is the catalog form Wards after they went out of business.

Dillard's opened in the former Montgomery Ward store in 2003 as they did in the Southpark Mall.

Today, the mall has over 160 stores and restaurant in the food court

Here is the only operation Montgomery Ward store in the country, here at Northpark Mall, its not actually Wards, but the store has the sign up and is open, its looks like what Wards looked like and a mix of Tuesday Morning and TJMaxx.
