"Valley Girl" is a song released in 1982 by Frank Zappa and his 14 year-old daughter Moon and most commonly known from the album "Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowning Witch", when released the same year, it became a top 40 hit.
The song was originally meant to be a parody, singling out the stereotypical shopping for sport girls of the 80's, known as a "Valley Girl", being that the trend originated from the San Fernando Valley in Southern California.
