A mall in the central part of Austin, Texas is now closed for good, the Highland Mall is no longer used for retail purposes as it was purchased by the Austin Community College and closed as of April 30, 2015. In the former JCPenney is where the school first set up campus but is now expanding and reusing the whole shopping center for campus and community grounds.

A former Venture Department Store at the North Park mall in Joplin, Missouri used at the temporary high school after a tornado destroyed the campus in 2011.
